Globalization

Globalization is a huge part of today's business world. Since interacting with other countries has become so much easier due to the advances in today's technology, it is very important to be knowledgeable about what's going on aroundthe globe. Learning different languages has never been such an immportant asset as it is today. Being familiar with other cultures is very important for doing businesses with other countries. The only way to be successful in moving a business to a globl is to be culturally aware and sensitive. Just beecause a business has flourished in the United States, it does not mean it will do the same elsewhere. Know the market you are entering everywhere you want it to be, know the people, know the traditions, know the expectations, know the culture. It could be the difference between success and failure.

How to Create Buzz

Creating hype or "buzz" about a company, product, or really anything that needs publicity, the rules have changed. In today's hyper-tech society, there are so many ways to get the word out: texting, e-mailing, blogging, calling. Since many, many people in today's world are connected to the internet, it would be a good place to start. Another resource that often goes un-tapped is: conversation. Everyone wants to be the most imformed, or most high-tech of their friends and family. People want to know what's going on, what's new, what's hott since our technological society is changing at such a rrapid pace. People want to be the one in a conversation that knows more about the "new age" than the other. Therefore, "buss worthy" information may be a person's golden ticket to a good conversation. So, if you want to get the word out, all you have to do is talk the talk.
